About R. Paul Singh

R. Paul Singh is the Chairman of DocSync.Net, a company that is bringing all of user’s documents to iPad from private and public clouds. He is also acting CEO of SocialNuggets.Net. Before this, he was an Entrepreneur in residence at Lightspeed Venture Partners looking at companies in mobile, social and cloud areas. Paul is on the board of TiE Silicon Valley and was elected as the Marketing Chair. He is also an avid blogger on mobile industry issues and if you are reading this, you are on his blog at http://mobilepov.wordpress.com. He is also on advisory board of various startups and also blogs at Tech Republic on use of tablets in enterprise.

Prior to this, Paul has been a founder and CEO of four high tech startups with three successful exits – Veraz going public on NASDAQ, CyLAN acquired by Hifn and Internetware acquired by Symantec. His expertise is in growing companies, building & managing teams and consummating large deals in mobile and cloud areas.

He has over 20 years of experience in general management, marketing and business development in the Mobile, Internet, Security, Data and Telecommunications Software industry. Before getting into startups, worked for over 10 years in various marketing management and business development roles at Ascend/Lucent, Castelle, Telebit/Cisco, Sun Microsystems and 3Com. He wrote three books on Internet related topics. He was also on the board of India Community Center.

Hi Paul,

I think your blog is great!

When appropriate, you may want to consider creating an Appendix-like add-on to each of your postings.

The Appendix might contain the meaning of any acronyms used in the body of the text. Such a move may broaden the understanding of your posting to a wider audience.

The Appendix might even include a one-line description of any product model names/numbers when used and/or a link to that product, when it is has not already been done in the text.

  Thanks. Your question is too wide. Do you know what app do you want to develop and is it a question of getting development done. if so you can contact someone who can develop the software locally or try on freelancer.com and some other sites. If you are developing apps yourself and interested in how to market that is a different story and a very long answer. Hope this helps.

I was really happy to see you on the ICC website – one among the board of directors.

At the same time I have got myself involved in some extra curricular activities. But I have a passion to drive my ideas on Voice Recognition, making hands free apps for public use. I did work in the elevator industry.

Please keep me in the loop for any open house events happening around.

I would definitely like to meet you sometime at the ICC if you are coming there.
